What Is Included in the Safe Pass Training Course?

Our Safe Pass Training Course covers all key aspects required by SOLAS to ensure you meet your legal obligations and are equipped with the knowledge to work safely on construction sites. The course content includes an introduction to site safety, hazard identification, accident prevention, and the role of both employees and employers in maintaining a safe working environment.

Delivered in a classroom setting, our course combines theoretical knowledge with practical discussion to ensure concepts are clearly understood and applicable to real-life scenarios. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded a SOLAS Safe Pass card — valid for four years — confirming that you have achieved the recognised standard of health and safety awareness.

Who Needs a Safe Pass Training Course?

The Safe Pass Training Course is mandatory for all individuals working on construction sites in Ireland, including general operatives, skilled tradespersons, site managers, and supervisors. Whether you are an employee or self-employed contractor, the course ensures that you are legally compliant and aware of your responsibilities under current health and safety legislation.

It is also strongly recommended for anyone visiting construction sites regularly, such as architects, engineers, and project managers, as the knowledge gained through the Safe Pass programme enhances overall site safety culture. Ultimately, a Safe Pass card demonstrates that you take site safety seriously and are equipped to play your part in preventing accidents and injuries.
